It's your Expo...and your Expo needs you!

In order to keep this a free event for everyone, the Upstate Homeschool Expo is run entirely by volunteers. It takes a team effort!

Put your teens to work! This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours. We're glad to help document their hours for college applications.

Note: Anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to volunteer must turn in a completed Youth Volunteer Consent & Release Agreement prior to the start of their first shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I have to know to volunteer?
No prior experience is necessary for our volunteer positions. Only a smile and a good attitude!

Who may volunteer?
Anyone 13 years of age or older may volunteer. Be sure to check the age requirements for each assignment. Volunteers under the age of 18 will require a completed Youth Volunteer Consent & Release Agreement before beginning their first shift.

Won't I miss everything if I volunteer?
Absolutely not! We keep our volunteer shifts short so that you'll still have plenty of time to see everything. TIP: If there's a workshop that you're interested in attending, you can volunteer to be a host for that workshop. You'll get to attend the workshop, and supply the help that we need to make sure it happens!

What happens if you don't get enough volunteers?
Many of the extra events associated with the Expo, such as the Student Fair, Workshops, and stage demonstrations, will have to be cut from the schedule if there are not enough volunteers available to ensure that those areas run smoothly.
