Spartanburg County Public Libraries offer a wealth of resources that are available for free to all those living in Spartanburg County. SCPL envisions creating a culture of lifelong learning by connecting people, ideas and information resulting in a community pursuing positive change. This is done through our programs, our collection, our staff, and our environment. For our children, story times and programs engage, educate, and entertain. During summer, our Summer Reading Program gets all ages excited about reading. SCPL also offers many online resources and downloadables that enrich and entertain our patrons.
There are so many resources at the Spartanburg County Public Library that help educate and enrich homeschool families. Besides the wealth of informative nonfiction and literature books that enhance your homeschool studies and curriculum, each branch, as well as the Headquarters library, offers engaging hands-on programs specifically for homeschoolers. These programs vary in times offered and in content at each location and you are sure to find one that will meet your needs and enhance your homeschool. By utilizing the resources that are offered at your local library you can maximize the potential of your homeschool family and cut down on the financial strain and material cost of homeschooling.
