Teen Services of the Spartanburg County Public Libraries serves teens ages 12-18 or in grades 7-12. Every location of SCPL offers books, programming, and a designated space specifically for teens! At the Headquarters Library, there's a Teen Hub that has computers, gaming systems, a button maker, instruments, craft kits, and more than teens can use whenever the library is open.

Not only is the Teen Hub a great place for homeschoolers to study and hang out, but we also have a program specifically for homeschoolers! This program meets on a monthly basis during the school year and covers both fun and educational topics. Past themes have included stop-motion animation, escape rooms, modern art, South Carolina wildlife, and Iron Chef. Several branches also host programs just for homeschoolers.

Additionally, homeschoolers can use our reader's advisory and reference services or volunteer in the Teen Hub. We hire 3 teen interns a year, and some of our best interns have been homeschoolers! Finally, with a library card, patrons can access e-books, research databases, music streaming services, and more.
